A group of six Fairlawners recently attended the AppFolio Future Conference in San Diego, joining real estate professionals and industry innovators from across the country to explore emerging trends, technologies, and best practices shaping the future of property management.
Fairlawn’s participation extended beyond attendance, with two team members leading key presentations during the conference. Sandra Teague, Head of Human Resources, and Gozen Hartman, CEO, led a Lightbulb Session focused on team wellness. Held in the Expo Hall, this session featured an interactive and distinctive format: presenters spoke via microphone while attendees listened through wireless headphones, creating an engaging and focused experience amidst the conference’s vibrant environment. Sandra and Gozen’s discussion emphasized the importance of cultivating a culture of wellness and shared practical strategies for building supportive, high-performing teams.
In addition, Gozen Hartman served as moderator for a panel discussion on “The Numbers That (Should) Keep Us on Track,” where industry leaders explored the key metrics that drive performance, accountability, and long-term organizational success.
