Preserving 12 E Main – Part of the Downtown Historic District
Our Fairlawn team has been hard at work preserving one of the oldest remaining buildings in downtown Champaign. This building contributes to the Downtown Historic District, and we are so excited with the results!
The two-year project was both a façade rehabilitation and an interior renovation project. We also installed solar panels on the roof that will offset the electricity usage of the second-floor apartments. We love creating better places and improving this beautiful space at 12 E Main feels pretty great!
